We receive frequent enquiries from members of the public about unsolicited letters or emails asking the recipient to transfer funds from a bank account in connection with a lottery win, and which refer to a (fictitious) person who is an ‘attorney’ of the ‘Commercial Bar Association of England’. This is ‘lotto fraud’ or  a "lottery scam".
