During the day on Saturday there will be sessions on: major issues in arbitration (including the applicable law of the arbitration agreement, the position of third parties and the role of emergency arbitrators); interim relief (including freezing injunctions and tips for effective advocacy); and global challenges (including technology and AI). We also look forward to a session with our Judicial Guests of Honour, who will together address their views on the value or otherwise of oral evidence in arbitration proceedings and the public policy defence to enforcement of arbitration awards, in the Indian and UK courts.
